SupraPod vs The Best Of The Rest
Saturday 7th July 2012 – Santa Pod, Wellingborough, Northants

 

The Mkiv Toyota Supra Owners Club have held an event called ‘SupraPod’ for a number of years now, the event has always been a great success but for 2012 Safely Insured have agreed to co-host the event and offer invitations to members of our network of affiliated car club communities. The aim of the day is for a limited number of people to enjoy Santa Pod without the usual queues and crowds.

Everyone is welcome to attend, spectator cost for the event is £10 per person and we have a limited number of drag and drift places to give away free of charge however the drag racing and drifting spaces is by application and invitation, they will not be available buy on the day.

We have 30 drag racing and 10 Drifting places to give away, if you are chosen, all you’ll need to do is confirm your attendance before the event and make your way to Santa Pod for 9.30am Saturday July 7th. If you are not chosen for either drag or drift you are still welcome to come along on the day as a spectator and display your car.

Drag Racing – We are looking to fill 30 spaces with the best cars we can find. If you have a car you feel would represent you and your car club then please get in contact, if you know of another club member or friend who has a high powered car, please ask them to read this webpage and get in contact with us. Ideally we are looking at cars which can do a sub 12 second standing quarter mile but also any weird and wacky cars as well.

Drifting – We are looking for 10 rear wheel drive cars to enjoy the especially prepared course laid out by ‘Drift What You Brung’ organisers. Any skill level is welcome but you must have a rear wheel drive car (of course!!). There will be a tyre swap man and van in attendance, payable locally.
