Today we are welcoming this fabulous Peugeot 106 to our ‘Customer Car Gallery’. This particular car belongs to a guy called Sonny, who has had a passion for cars and bikes for as long as he can remember.

Sonny has put so much pride, joy and care into modifying the car you see today. This speaks for itself by the fact that the car is actually now a little famous. This Peugeot 106 has been featured on the cover of ‘Performance French Cars Magazine’. Not only has it been featured the once – the magazine found out about Sonnys further, recent modifications to the car and have asked to feature it again!

Let’s find out some more indepth information about the car and the person responsible for being the driving force behind it’s success – Sonny, who kindly took the time to answer a few questions for us.

When did you first discover your passion for cars?

I’ve always been into bikes and cars from an early age, due to my dad having an interest too.

When did you buy your 106?

I’ve always had 106’s since I first started driving. I’ve had this one roughly 3 years.

Can you tell us a little bit about the car and how you’ve enhanced its performance?

Its gone from a standard car to a well known throttle bodied 8 valve engine to now in its second version of a 16 valve Turbo conversion.

 

Has your car been featured in any magazines?

Yes the car was Front cover feature in Performance French Cars Magazine, they have contacted me again because they would like to feature it again now after its new modifications.

Do you have any plans to further enhance your car?

I have plans to change the gearbox for something stronger and also a new ECU for the likes of Traction control and Boost by gear. The car will hopefully enter a few Time Attack rounds next year to see how competitive we are against the competition.

If you could swap your car for any car in the world, what would it be?

Most probably a Mclaren F1 or P1 or a Koenigsegg One:1.
