This weekend I went to Santa Pod to watch the Gymkhana Grid Final where the famous Ken Block was taking part.

Gymkhana is all about your driving skills and how fast you can complete the circuit. Not only do you have to finish the circuit as quick as you can, you have to ensure that you complete the manoeuvres with the up most precision.

Ken Block

Ken Block is known all around the world for his driving skills and his YouTube videos. The videos always include crazy manoeuvres around very tight obstacles. You can view all of his videos on his YouTube channel.

As well as him being at this event, we got to see his new MK2 Escort which was being driven by Ryan Tuerck, another well known professional driver.

The MK2 Escort has a 2.5 litre, naturally aspirated engine, producing 333bhp and is Ken Blocks first ever RWD car.
