This impeccable Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (Performance Pack Plus version) belongs to our customer, Andrew. It’s currently running at 523BHP, as measured on RSTuning.co.uk ‘Dyno Dynamics’ rollers. It’s current modifications include: tinted rear windows, an exhaust modification, it’s been mapped, and now has black alloys.

Where it all started…

When did you first discover you had an interest in cars?

“A passion was born when I was around the age of 9. I went to watch some touring cars at Brands Hatch with my father, and I’ll never forget it. Cars such as the BMW e30 and the Sierra rs500 Cosworth were an early memory for me!”

What was the first car you ever owned?

“The first car I ever owned was a Renault 21 GTS, in red.”

What garages do you use to perform the work on your car?

“Mercedes Benz of Manchester are fantastic. I also use RSTuning in Leeds – they are really, really helpful.”

Has your car ever been featured in any magazines / online forums?

“I actively post on turboRenault.co.uk as I am one of the founding members. You can visit our Instagram or Twitter pages if you like.”

Are you attending any car shows in 2017?

“Yes, mostly ones organised by turboRenault.co.uk!”

Do you have any plans to further modify your car?

“It would be rude not to. Perhaps I’ll add a set of alloys. Some long tube manifolds wouldn’t go a miss either. I think these types of modifications would work well on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.”

What advice would you give to someone who wants to modify their car for the first time?

“Check the insurance will cover you first!”

If money was no option, what car would you buy? And why?

“I would buy a 1986 Audi Sport Quattro – again, an early memory for me in the world of cars. I love the fact they often had more power than grip. Plus, they make fantastic sounds from their 5 cylinder engines – a truly unique kind of car.”
