At Safely Insured, we specialise in insuring both high-performance and modified cars. Many of us are car enthusiasts ourselves. As well as going to shows and events across the UK, we love to check-in with our customers to find out what modifications projects they’re taking on next, or what shows they’ll be displaying their car at…

Some of the cars we insure are so impressive, we thought it was only fair to share them with you and similar car enthusiasts, so we’ve collated a wide range of our customer cars below. We’ve got everything from a Nissan GT-R, to a 1968 Ford Anglia Deluxe, to a 602bhp Vauxhall VXR8 Gen f GTS. We even insure a fully road legal competition drift car – yes, this makes us super excited every time we mention it!

Insurance for High-Performance and Modified Cars

Modified Car Insurance and Performance Car Insurance differs when compared to ‘standard car insurance’. They’re specialist types of insurance and require knowledge of the technicalities of modifications, as well as the specifications of parts.

We believe that those who own modified cars, or those who own high-performance cars, are more likely to take care of them. We understand that the specifications and modifications are of a higher value, and as such, you’ll need an insurance policy to reflect these aspects. That’s why the Safely Insured ‘Modified Car Insurance’ policy is great for car enthusiasts. Not only can you get limited mileage discounts and second car discounts, we also offer ‘Agreed Valuations’ cover and ‘Like-for-like’ modifications cover. These types of cover ensure that your pride and joy is protected to its actual value, according to the parts you have on it. So, rest assured, we know a thing or two when it comes to modified cars!
