Customer Car Gallery – Dan’s 320BHP MK6 Fiesta ST
This weeks customer car gallery is all about Daniel Lambert and his Fiesta. His MK6 Fiesta ST originally started as a standard 2 litre, 150 BHP, hot hatch. Now, it’s more than doubled in BHP.
Since owning the car, Dan has spared no expense with getting the car to where it is today. Although he did have the intention of modifying the car he never realised that it would become a full spec track car.
After some problems with the original engine, Dan decided that he would start the build and convert it into a track car. The car is now a 2 litre Turbo which has been completely stripped out for weight reduction. Currently he is running on low boost, so is around the 320 BHP mark although it has the potential to reach up to 500+ BHP.
Needless to stay people definitely would not expect that sort of power to come from such a small car. In the future there will be plans for even more custom parts to make the car lighter.
Dan has attended many shows including the famous Ford Fair which took place in August at Silverstone were he took the ST on track.
Although he has done lots of the work himself, Dan has stated that ‘without the help of Jamsport he wouldn’t have been able to finish the project’. He did also want to say a special thanks to Sam at Jamsport. For further information, you can visit the Jamsport website.
