Ducati bikes: The `Monster 1200 25°Anniversario`
Ducati's most iconic bike is turning 25 years old. The original 'Monster 900' was released in 1993. Can you believe it? As a result, they're celebrating by releasing a special edition bike, the 'Monster 1200 25°Anniversario'.
Only 500 of these bikes have been created. Each with their signature number out of 500 applied to the frame.
The bike will be premiered at the 'World Ducati Week 2018' event, which is taking place from 20th to 22nd July in Misano, Italy. Are you lucky enough to attend? We sure wish we were.
The History of the 'Monster'
As mentioned above, the 'Monster' bike has been around for 25 years. Here's a list of all the 'Monster' models and when they were released:

The 'Monster 1200 25°Anniversario'
Let's talk a little bit about the anniversary model, the 'Monster 1200 25°Anniversario'...
The bike has a 1,198cc engine which gives out 147bhp at 9,250rpm. What gearbox accompanies this power? Well, it has a 6 speed gearbox with 'Ducati Quick Shift' (DQS) both up and down. Making changing gears all that much easier for you to work your way through the power ranks.
It's got an adjustable seat height too, between 795 - 820mm, to make your ride more comfortable. Of course, the bike has numerous safety features added to it as well. Some of its safety features include: Riding modes, Power modes, and the Ducati Safety Pack.
In terms of appearance, the bike is simply beautiful. It has a gold coloured frame and an embroidered 25th anniversary logo. Certain parts of the bike also feature the iconic colours of the Italian flag livery.
