Karl's modified Toyota Supra Aerotop 6 Speed Manual, has a 3.0 litre 2JZ-GTE engine. The power isn't something to dismiss either, with 708BHP at the Flywheel and 633 at the hubs.

In Karl's own words, he sums up the story of his Toyota Supra in a few sentences: "The car started life in Japan as a black, N/A auto Supra Aerotop. Toyota only built RHD Aerotops in auto, manual Aeros are only available in LHD. My car has had a full Twin Turbo 6 speed manual drive-train fitted in order to create the model Toyota never did."

Shall we take a look at the impressive array of modifications that helped it get to this stage? Oh, go on then...

Q&A with Karl

  1. When did you first discover you had an interest in cars?

"When my dad took me to the British Motorshow at Earls Court around 1993. It was there that I fell in love with the old twin-supercharged Aston Martin Vantage - I would have been about 6 years old."

  1. What was the first car you ever owned?

"My first ever car was a 1999 Volkswagen Polo (1.0 litre). Yes, the power was a little different then compared to what I drive now."

  1. What garages do you use to perform the work on your car?

Garage Whifbitz

  1. Are you attending any car shows in 2017?

"I plan to attend as many as possible, these include: Japfest, Ace Cafe Meets, and Suprapod in October. I will be booking more, I'm just not sure what ones yet."

  1. Who’s your favourite F1 driver?

"Ayrton Senna - without a doubt."

  1. What advice would you give to someone who wants to modify their car for the first time?

"Set yourself a goal! Don’t try to make a slow car fast, always start with something fast and make it faster. Never do things on the cheap either - it's not worth it."

  1. If money was no object what car would you buy? And why?

"If money was no object I would have more cars than Jay Leno! If I had to pick one, it would probably be a Pagani Zonda Roadster. It's the modern day bedroom-wall poster car. Oh, and it comes in manual!"

  1. If your ultimate job was car-related, what would it be?

"Professional Drifter! In my opinion, this would be the most fun you can have in a car."

  1. Do you have any plans to further modify your car?

"Next on the list is a new set of wheels, either Work Meister M1's or CCW LM20's. Then, I will be dressing the engine bay with a bit more bling. Once 700hp doesn't feel fast enough, (it will happen), I will re-build the engine and go for 800hp+."
